Hi everyone. I am new to the forum. About one year ago I moved from the US to South America (Bolivia) and I have been an avid user of communication apps, namely Skype. Recently, my money has been low and I couldn't afford to continue using Skype. After doing some searching I found my new choice for communication app.

At first I thought it was just a sales pitch, but it turns our that Airetalk offers better sound quality and much lower prices than Skype. This week, Airetalk gets even better with the release of the 4.1 update for iOS. I have been using this app for almost one month for all my calling to landlines and mobile numbers, and I have had zero dropped calls and the rates have been great. I will now be using airetalk to place all my landline and mobile device voice calls. Unfortunately, my family and friends are not tech savvy and are too stubborn to download the app, but hopefully in the future more people will be on airetalk and I can take advatage of airetalk to airetalk calling, walkie talkie, text messaging, image/file share and more.

What is your favorite communication app and why? Are there any communication apps that offer completely free calling?
