Hi guys,

I just took delivery of my maxed out i7, 2tb, 16gb, retina macbook pro 13 and so far it's fantastic machine. This machine is part of an initiative for me to move from two desktops plus a laptop to just one laptop.

Part of this will be using the laptop for photoshop and premiere pro at work and at home - nothing incredibly serious, but enough that I know for a fact it will severely throttle the cpu.

I don't mind buying cooling mats for work and home since the laptop is always docked there anyway - can anyone recommend a cooling pad that will allow the laptop to processor to stay at maximum turbo state during sustained encoding?

Thanks, I appreciate it!

A block of ice? I would like to see benchmark results with and without a cooling pad before I believe they are even effective.
