Whats the best GPU for FCPX

Hi Just did some updates on my 5,1 Mac Pro. Upgraded the CPUs with x5680's, dropped 32gig of ram in it(32g more in the mail). Right now I have a ssd boot drive. I am not sure if I really would benefit from a NVME since I edit off of external drives. I dropped the Sapphire RX580 cause what I read so far that is was the easiest option for the buck. I was in a time crunch as well cause of a project I was working on. but now I have time and money from that project to really shop for a card. What would be the best Card for FCPX editing, so far the line up is the 5000 series, VII, and Vegas. Would I even really see enough gains from my RX580 to even bother. I know these cards require the Pixla Mod, is the performance enough to warrant this? I am looking to speed up rendering times while editing, especially with third party plugs like Red Giant, and neat. Thanks!
