Is this hidden folder shortcut exclusive to Mojave (considering the section you posted it in)? Or is this something you first have to enable somewhere? Because it definitely doesn't do anything for me on 10.13.6.

Hmm maybe disabled by default then? Gonna check later. Though then again I personally probably wouldn't use it so often anyway.

Also in regards to the best "magic trick" shortcut: not a native one, but what comes to mind is that I recently read about a 3rd-party utility app that allows you to completely freeze the screen/make it ignore any inputs with a single shortcut, and unfreeze it by pressing the shortcut again.

Useful for situations like workplaces, schools or universities, or if you have your friends/family over and suspect that someone might by trying to use/snoop around on your Mac when you're gone for a minute: if someone else doesn't know about this tool, then it probably looks like some black magic to them that your Mac ignores their keyboard/mouse input when they try to snoop around, but once you're back, the same input devices are magically recognized again as if they knew that the legitimate owner is back. :D

(Or you could just... lock your Mac of course... but then again we're talking about "magic" shortcuts here.)

i can make annoying forum posts, unpleasant email, and mediocre videos disappear (in fact, anything) with command-option-power....

I have four, all via mods in the Keyboard Pref Pane App Shortcuts... Not built-in options, they're my "Kobayashi Maru" changes :D.

Adding Command-P to represent the Save as PDF menu item in the Print Dialog. Press Command-P to invoke the Print Dialog Box and press Command-P again to get the Save as PDF option.

For Safari, change "Reload Page" from Command-R to Control-R and change Show Reader and Hide Reader to Command-R - no more keyboard Twister...

And, for all applications add Control-Z for Window>Zoom.
