What's the best "Now Playing" app or something to give me a desktop readout of what's playing on my music apps?

I'm back on macOS for the first time in years, and it seems like lots has changed. I'm trying to figure out how to show a "Now Playing" on the desktop, like in the lower corner or somewhere static. I don't want to fidget with notifications or the Music visualizer; any ideas or thoughts on what I could use?
