I've noticed some really good ones but I can't find them on youtube. I want to show the genius bar the problem and make it obvious to them on my first try. Any ideas would be great! I don't want images because they could just say that it's the image's fault.

This one will never fail (it worked for me)

Is that what people have been using? It looks like mud on my computer LCD. Of course it'll look dark on your Touch if it looks dark anyway!

You need a video that looks good normally. I've had good luck with Empire Strikes Back. Other suggest Batman Begins.

Or, as the last comment says, try something from iTunes (free) - that way, Apple geniuses can't say "it's just your encoding" - and they can download it to a floor model & compare!

I'd recommend a David Fincher movie. SE7EN would good to test a good amount of darks and lights.
