I just got a Wacom, and I'd love to be able to use it in iWorks to draw on and around text. I don't want to transcribe it into text, but to use it to do things to the text.

It doesn't seem that this is possible... and yet seems like a pretty basic feature?

I'm currently trying to think of an easy way to use it to mark up a document, for text criticism and a host of other things.

Help!

Thanks!

In iWork, all three apps allow you to create shapes, and you could use the tablet to do that. Dunno if it's really going to be the best solution, but give it a try. I'm thinking specifically of the freeform shape tool, the last on the list IIRC.

Yes, I'm aware of these tools, but not so much freehand drawing tools. Perhaps I should hav been more specific. I want to have a pen to draw with in the Photoshop sense. I'd also like a highlighter. I've got some styles saved and set to hotkeys... but I could be SO much faster with the pen tablet.
