My wife won the smaller sized Apple Watch in a giveaway. She wore it a few times and decided it's not for her. It's too small for me as well. We want to sell it, is Craigslist the best way? Looking to avoid scammers.

Swappa and the marketplace on this website are both good options.

The best way to avoid scammers has more to do with knowing what to do and not to do than picking a selling venue, as you can encounter scammers on CL and eBay.

eBay will get more bids and interest than Craig's List but I have moved to CL simply because you may not get quite as much but there are no eBay or PayPal fees. Just meet in a public place and tell them to bring cash. It has worked well for me!

I had a coworker sell his that he won at the office on Ebay. Put it up for $300 bidding and then buy now at $350. Got bought up in 24 hours.

We win that kind of stuff at work all the time. I just didn't want to press my luck and I bought one anyways. If I end up winning it, its going straight to eBay or hell even CL.

Swappa

Have done many transactions on there and it has been great. The Marketplace here is very active and again, great interactions with members and all great sales.

Also check out local FaceBook online garage sales. I do a lot on there as well and meeting in public places with a thorough conversation via FaceBook Messenger prior to has gone very well for me as well.

Before you can access the Marketplace forum, you need a minimum post count of 250, as displayed in your User Profile, and you must have been a MacRumors member for at least 180 days (about 6 months). Posts in certain forums (e.g., the "Politics, Religion, Social Issues" and "Console Games" forums) do not count toward this total.

How come? Does your workplace offer draws? ;)

Here's another vote for Swappa from a happy seller. I've sold my iPhones and iPads there for the past 2 upgrade seasons.

Seems to be an influx of Apple Watches on our Marketplace lately. I count 4?

People getting tired of them or buyers remorse? Some good deals too!
