After a few months I've decided to 'go backwards' and revert to my old Razr and Nano.
Can someone suggest the best way to sell my iPhone? If I do so on eBay, can another AT&T customer just buy the phone, insert a SIM, and sign up for the plan?
Thanks for any help.

well, i moved and i have no att coverage.

i called att, and they canceled my contract almost no questions asked, although you may have to pay a $175 deactivation fee.

i havnt sold my phone yet, but now its acting just as it did, but no phone features working, but it will let you get to the home screen.

im assuming once my phone gets plugged into a computer that doesnt have a backup on it, it will ask to activate the phone.

Hi, iPhones are fetching much much more money on ebay if they are Unlocked, so i suggest you use a tutorial to do this (modmyiphone.com)

then sell it on UK ebay, with shipping from the USA

you could probarbly sell for about 550$ - eBay fees... about $500!
hope this helps

Yeah, if you haven't upgraded to 1.1.1 yet, ebay is the call.

Even if you have upgraded, ebay is probably the best place to sell an iPhone.

Or try a free ad on Craigslist.

Time is running out though. The U.K. iPhone will be released in just over 4 weeks for £269 ($538).
