I am getting a new Wireless N router and I would like to test the current speed of my G router versus the new N router when I get it in the mail. Would would a good, accurate test to run with both routers? Would using the Network Utility "Ping" feature tell me anything?

Any tips/suggestions?

The best you could do is go to Applications -> Utilities -> Network Utility and look at your "Link Speed".

Which router are you getting?
