I just stared the gym with a trainer and i was thinking of buying an app for iphone/ipad to track my results. Does anyone know of a very good app for that. does not matter iphone or ipad. Thanks

I use [app]BodyBook Journal[/app].

[app]GymGoal[/app] is good too though.

You may want to check out a pair of Apps for the iPhone I just released, they are:
NutriScanner which is free:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nutriscanner-nutrition-facts/id458063765?ls=1&mt=8
and
body-PRO which is paid:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/body-pro-health-fitness/id431859643?mt=8

I think you should consider reviewing them because body-PRO is a ‘best in class’ App and NutriScanner offers a unique function not found in other Apps.

About body-PRO

In a snap shot body-PRO is the Best Health and Fitness App available for the iPhone. It has been developed for over three years and beta tested for the last year and we feel this extra effort has made it better than any other health or fitness application available for the iPhone. The basis for body-PRO was the Palm OS app by the same name which was the most popular health and fitness application for Palm OS. A list of some of the more interesting features is at the end of this info since even a summary is very long.

body-PRO is available on the App Store at:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/body-pro-health-fitness/id431859643?mt=8

The good overview of body-PRO would be to take a look at the video of it I posted on YouTube, here is a link:

About NutriScanner

NutriScanner is much simpler in comparison to body-PRO but it is the only App for the iPhone capable of its unique function. NutriScanner is the first iOS app with Optical Character Recognition designed to scan Nutrition Facts labels directly from photos taken with your iOS device. Once you scan an image and get the info you can email this in a CSV file, as a body-PRO data link or open it directly in body-PRO.

NutriScanner is available on the App Store at:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nutriscanner-nutrition-facts/id458063765?ls=1&mt=8

I have also made a similar short video for NutriScanner which is here:

Nike+ GPS and C25k are also very good. I don't have as much to say as the guy above me however they are good apps.

I currently use:

Nike+ GPS for running - I like the fact it voice tracks my runs, distance, calories... usual stuff really. Most of all its a nice and simple interface.

and FullFitness for my gym workouts. I like the video exercise demos and that you can choose workouts by specific muscle, only gripe its a little slow.
