I have two possible deals going on right now, and I'd appreciate any advice on which is the better deal...

1.) 12" G4 Powerbook - $500

1.5 GHz Processor, 768 mb RAM.

2.) 17" iMac G4 - $350

1 GHz Processor, 1 GB RAM

Thanks so much! If you have any other comments on if either of these is a bad/good deal, please forward it along!

Do you need to be able to take it places?

The PowerBook is a little faster though...

Both deals are great finds however the better deal can only be determined by your needs. If viewing space is a great need the 17" iMac would have a large advantage. If portability is a need than the Powerbook would have the cutting edge. Between these two there is no "better deal" it depends solely on which one you need.

With both being great deals, go for broke and get 'em both, learn isync and install remote desktop on them so you can access your imac while away.
