What’s the bottom icon in control center and what does it do?

interesting, it's not listed on Apple's documentation ... have you tapped it yet? it almost looks like it could be ECG?

That’s Sound Recognition, I believe. You can set it up in Accessibility settings on your iPhone. When it’s enabled, it will alert you if it detects common sounds like a door opening, a fire alarm, etc. It’s intended for those who are hard of hearing.

Thank you. I like noise level being on to tell me when there is loud noise in the area.

It can’t be tapped

Ah, it looks like it is for Announce Messages. That seems odd, as I wouldn’t think it would be something you would need to toggle on and off frequently. The icons for this and Sound Recognition look way too similar.

The icon for “Announce Messages“ has disappeared from my watch. I have a Series 5TI, OS 7.1. I checked in the control center edit section and its not there either. I do have it in my “control center” on my iPhone 11Pro Max. Did a reset of watch and phone but still no icon on my watch. I do remember it working a few weeks ago. Saw this thread today and realized it wasn’t working. Any ideas how to get it back???
