What's the Deal with iWork '11?

When is Apple going to update iWork? I know it's only prognostication, but does anyone have an idea when iWork '11 or '12 is coming out?

2 years since the last release is pretty sad.

I'm guessing that they are going to release it about the same time as Lion, supporting new features that are only found in Lion.

But that's just a guess.

Here's my iWork story:

Had iWork 08. Bought iPad - iOS versions of Pages etc. don't sync with iWork 08. Figured iWork 09 had already been out over a year and, being halfway through 2010, a new version was around the corner.

I've now had my iPad for nearly a year and still haven't enjoyed creating files on my Mac and viewing/editing them on my iPad.

Not really any worse than the 3-year cycle Microsoft does with Office.

"iWork '08" and "iWork '09" would seem to suggest a pattern of annual release, so I agree that a two year silence is an understandable annoyance.
