What's the deal with Mac Mail 2.0.1? Sooo Slow.

Does anyone have any insight into helping Mail 2.0.1 work a little better with IMAP accounts? It's sooo slow. I get "Loading Message" for at least 30 seconds to 2 minutes PER EMAIL. It's ridiculously slow. Any word of Apple trying to fix this? It's quite a stupid little problem considering how well Mail worked before the Tiger upgrade.

The 10.4.2 update is reportedly going to do something to fix the IMAP problems (you're one of the lucky ones if it works at all). We don't know when 10.4.2 will be released though.

Mail is still crawling on IMAP

is everyone else still having super super slow response from mac mail regarding IMAP? I might have to switch mail programs. This is getting so annoying at this point. I can't believe they didn't fix it in the latest update.
