Whats the deal with socal stores?

Have any apple stores ran out or have lines died down?

Just went to the Apple store on the 3rd street promenade and the ATT store in Santa Monica. The line at the Apple store stretched all the way down the promenade and the line at the ATT store had probably 40 people in it, but who knows how much stock they have. Good luck.

With the forced activation, the lines are moving much slower, so I would suspect that supplies will run out at a slower rate.

The wife is on the way to South Coast Plaza. She called beforehand and said they were expecting a stock of 3000 3g iPhones total and there was about a 5 hour wait. Don't know what that number is based upon. Will update when she arrives.
