I have been considering buying an eSata Expressport/34 card, since I just bought a hard drive that supports it and could really use my Firewire800 port back. Was looking at these two on bhphotovideo.com:

They represent both the most expensive ($89) and cheapest ($29), respectively, that B&H offers. What's the difference? I prefer better quality, but if they are literally the same product I of course don't want to spend $60 unnecessarily. Any thoughts?

Check out System Requirements under Specifications. By that information, seems like the PNY isn't supported under Mac. Looks like you're stuck with the more expensive option if you want Mac support.
