/A includes firmware 1.1-1.1.2. /B has 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 preinstalled with the software upgrade introduced in January.
Just got my first ipod touch. I was reading the forums and was wondering what is the difference between a /A and /B type ipod touch?
iPod touch models with part numbers ending in /B have the January Software Upgrade pre-installed from manufacture. /A do not.
/B were made available for purchase after January 15th 2008.
