Trying to figure out when to call the Apple Store tomorrow so I can figure out if I need to rush there when it opens to get a 5s (if they hopefully have some in stock)? I know here (in Connecticut), they open at 10, but do they start taking phone calls earlier than that?

10 will be when they start taking calls, just like if they close at 9 then they will stop taking calls at 9 as well.
FYI smart guy, I work in retail at a mall and someone has to be there at 9 before the store opens. If someone happened to call before we open our gates, we'd answer. I just wanted to know if Apple does the same.
I don't know if they answer the phone or not but the Apple stores near me are open for customer training classes an hour before they open for sales.
I didn't realize this and just went in one morning and sat at the Genius Bar.
They said they weren't supposed to help me until they opened so I just sat there and waited.

Apple stores opens at 10, but workshops start at 9am and there are many employees there then. Will they pickup a phone inquiry??
At the store near me they have genius appointments before the store opens. That would get you some good one-on-one time with, well, the entire staff.
