What's the easiest way for me to resize pics in Leopard?

I remember in my Windows days I use to use a nifty little program called Irfanview that would allow me to resize pictures from my camera to web use.

however, I don't have that option with Leopard now so I needed to ask the pros in this forum. does Leopard have something already built in that can resize my pictures? If so, how would I do it?

I just use photoshop, but don't MacBook Pros still come with Graphic Converter? I think that would do the trick. And of course iPhoto will do it too, but it doesn't give you many options about file compression.

I don't have PS on my MBP. just iPhoto...

Can't you export and re-size pix from iPhoto? In singles, or as a batch?

Sorry, I don't have iPhoto installed anymore, so I can't check. Going from the old meat memory.

You can edit and resize images in Preview.

I used to use IV as well, pre Mac.

Save for Web is a great automator script that uses preview (or Photoshop) to resize multiple images quickly.

Anyone tried Nikon ViewNX?
ViewNX is an easy tool to view JPEG, TIFF and NEF files, and edit or convert NEF/RAW files. I have it in my macbookair and works wonderfully. Much better than Irfanview.
