I'm trying to put my TV Shows on a separate drive and read that if you hold 'option' while dragging, it would reference the location of the new drive. Every time I do this, it just re-creates the folder in the original drive. Any other ways?

Thanks for the link. Is it possible to have tv shows that I download move directly to the new folder automatically or will they continue to download with the rest of the library?

I use TuneSpan, it's great. You can move your contents around without messing with ratings, play count and so on. Perfect for me who have my iTunes library on a NAS but want to bring movies and music with me when I go away for a while.

If you buy TV shows from iTunes, they will download into your iTunes Media folder, not to any other folders that you may include in your library. You would need to move them to whatever folder you prefer.
