Okay, so we're only got four days to go to the Mac App Store.

I saved all my Christmas money ready to buy iLife and iWork (if iWork comes out...)! So I'm probably going to be spending around £120... yikes! I'm very excited though. I love iWork... makes all my college reports look well pro :)

What will be the first thing you will buy, and why?

Probably iWork '11. Although after the abomination that was iLife '11, I'll be waiting for some feedback before I splash out my cash.

After a bit of feedback that it actually works, I'll pick up iPhoto '11.

Also, Pixelmator is a dead cert. I've been looking for an excuse to buy it for some time, but thought I might as well hold off until the App Store comes around.

iLife/iWork apps available individually?

I am excited about iLife/iWork items being available individually. I don't know for sure that that is the case, but I feel like I have read indications of the possibility.

So I'll probably get the latest versions of Pages, Numbers, and Garageband. These are the apps from those two suites that I use. Very cool if we can purchase just what we need.

Beyond that, I am sure that there will be fun apps on there that I didn't even know I needed. ;)

Nothing. If there was something I wanted or needed, I would have already bought it.

I agree! I'd only buy Pages and Keynote from the iWork suit, and get iPhoto and Garage Band for iLife :) This would be good!

if iWork '11 comes out, I will buy the full suite. Does anyone know if I can buy with iTunes cards?

I think i'll wait until price lowers in the Mac App Store, because if developers start charging as did with the iPad (5 or more times than for the iPhone) then for the mac they'll easily charge $20-$60.

How does the App store work with my current apps of iLife and iWork that came pre-installed on my 6 day old iMac?

I do like having store credit (hopefully compatible with my iTunes money?) and not having to worry about providing CC details to random vendors online. That being said, I don't really buy much software online as a result. Maybe the App Store will change that. I also wonder if there'll be lots of cheap (or free?) games now.

Agree.
If that's the case I'll buy Keynote (if it gets updated) and iPhoto '11.
I don't use any of the other programs in the iWork and iLife suites.
