Depends. If you have all those computers and those computers can do AC wireless then I would strongly suggest a dual band router.

Pretty much any, thats very few devices.

Try an Airport Express or Extreme.

The new AirPort Extreme is very solid, never requires a reboot, and works very well. It isn't as fast as some of the ASUS counterparts, but it is by far the best in terms of simplicity and reliability.

I am also interested in this as I think my current modem/router is on its way out and I would like the extra bandwidth of the new gear.

Then get a new simple modem and a good quality wireless router like the AirPort Extreme.
