I used to have this tweak that when opening the app switcher bar the icons would rearrange to the most recently used to the last one used and all apps in between.

Does anyone know what the name of this tweak is? I can't remember for the life of me.

Thanks.

Unless I am missing something, it sounds like you are describing stock behavior. My most recent app is on the left, and so on.

Thanks for all the responses guys, but none of those names ring a bell. I'll try them out though and see what happens.

Anyone else have any idea??

Okay so I tried switcherplus and backboard and neither is the tweak I was referring to.

The best way I can describe it is:

When you open up the app switcher bar you see the 4 icons arrange themselves to from the most recent to the last recent app used. It animates when they all move to their positions.

Does anyone know what I mean? Please someone advise.

Thanks in advance!

im still confused doesnt Multitasker do this by default, when i launch my multitasker it has the most recently opened app on the left and least recent on the right

Yes it does do this by default but the tweak I speak of does an animation of it when you double click the home button...You'll actually see the 4 or 5 icons in your task switcher all moving at the same time.

That is a much better description that I initially gave...so does this ring a bell for anyone now?

Thanks everyone!

Im confused as well. Why would the icons animate to put themselves in order when they're already in order from most recently used? I hope you didnt pay for that tweak.

No I remember it being free....and I guess the tweak is set up so the icons only arrange themselves from recent to last ONLY when the app switcher bar is opened by double press of the home button...I can't for the life of me remember the name of it though.

was this prior to iOS 4.0?

i still dont get it, when multitasker is open and lets say your click on the third icon from the left, the app just opens there is no delay to watch it annimate to the most recent position

No I remember it coming out around the same time as remove recents / remove background tweaks. Multitasking just came out at the start of 4.0 so no it definitely wasn't before hand. And if you did select the 3rd icon you wouldn't see that icon move, but after opening the 3rd icons app, if you were to double click the home button you'd see the 1st and 2nd app animate their move to their new proper positions.

Thanks for the give and take here my Hamilton friend! Don't see many people from the Hammer on here! lol

So does anyone else have any idea as to what tweak this is?

SwitcherPlus does exactly what you're describing.

Unfortunately you're wrong it doesn't, I've tried all the regular switcher bar apps...none of them so an actual animation of the app icons moving into their respected places in order.

I can't believe no one knows which tweak I'm referring to...this is driving me mad trying to remember! haha

Anyone else want to give a kick at the can??

I hope you find what you are looking for, but I just don't see the value and why this is worth obsessing over. Having said that, I'm sure I have many useless tweaks on my phone as well!!
