Hi All,
So I am not at all Iphone hacking savvy....a friend (who didn't know too much about jailbreaking/unlocking) upgraded my 3gs to 3.1.2 and after that I started seeing all sorts of issues. I get no pings. Youtube doesn't work. And my backlight on my main home screen doesn't dim...although the backlight on other screens like email or game dims after a minute.

Anyways, I wanted to upgrade to the next version but everyone keeps telling me that 4.x versions are not stable and people are having alot of issues. Is that true. How can there be no stable 4.x version for jailbroken unlocked phones??

Also anyone in the Chicago area (specifically Schaumburg or other northwest suburbs) whos really good at jailbreaking and unlocking?? I'd really like to be able to use my phone and have it working correctly.

I havent had any so call unstable JB. I have 3Gs and update to 3.1.3 and it never had any of your so call problem. Then i update to 4.0>4.1 and now 4.3.1 without any issue.

Go to iclarified and search how you can JB and unlock your iphone,
