I read somewhere (don't remember where) that the output voltage of the retina Macbook is 14.5 V at 2 A. I thought that USB-C (or any USB) is standard at 5V. If this is correct how does it work then. Does USB-C support variable voltage or the macbook itself and regulate from any voltage??
