Hey.

I need some help over here.

i set my up my iMac without any password protecting the computer.

When I attempt to delete a folder inside my documents folder, the finder prompts me for my password. I am unable to delete the folder?!

What should I do now? :(

You can boot from your install CD and reset the password.

I was unaware you could create an admin user without a password. Doesn't seem like a good idea.

you could actually.

can you actually set an admin password but do not need type the password at the welcome screen, in that way, bootup will be much faster

if you go to Accounts in System Preferences and choose Login Options you can specify the computer to automatically log in to your account
