what's the problem with the 4870 card?

Week after week, every time you look at the shipping date it always says 4-5 weeks.
Why can't they get in a supply of them? Are people that ordered them weeks ago still being told that it's 4-5 weeks wait time?

I image since they have to get them custom made with their silly mini Display port they're having trouble with supply.

They really should have just offered 2 DVI ports instead. Very silly not to imo

I ordered on March 19th and have a delivery estimate of April 20th. Don't want a mini display port as I've have to buy an adaptor to use my 2nd monitor now.

There is likely no shortage of supply. They are probably just waiting for 10.5.7 to be released.

No shortage as everyone getting their new Nehalem MPs receive them with no sorts of delay apparently. Just waiting for 10.5.7 I guess . . .
