What's the use of the telephoto lens in the iPhone 11 Pro that the iPhone 11 doesn't have?
To me it’s just useless when you can do it by zooming it in.
Yup for normal users this is not important.You lose quality when you digitally zoom.
That's the point of having an additional glass zoom lens (zoom without quality loss)

Majority of Snapchat generation doesn’t know the difference between digital zoom and optical zoom.

What if you take 2 steps forward?From 7/8 plus to the 11 you will loose the ability in optical 2x zoom so your digitally zoomed in photos from the 11 will be more blurry/grainy so it seems a downgrade to me.
