What's this strange desktop graphical glitch? 2016 15"

Just went to my desktop a minute ago (Hot corner) and was presented with this...

It stayed there whilst I went back and forth, then eventually went away. Don't think it's anything troubling just curious what it is, FireVault? I think I was using Chrome at the time (Many open apps), GPU switch fail?

Not FileVault. Looks more like a GPU glitch of some sort. If it happens again, you might want to run the Apple Hardware Test for your Mac (which you didn't mention).
