iPod touch What's this thingy that came with my iTouch?

I just got a refurb iPod touch (yay!) and I'm wondering what the white piece of plastic that came with it is. It looks like some kind of stand for the Touch, and it has a place that looks like it would clip on to something... but there's nothing to clip it on to. There is an oval depression in it (which would accomodate the bottom of the Touch), with a rectangular hole that is about the same size as the charging/syncing cable (the one with the USB on the other end)... but I'm at a loss as to what to do with this.... this *thingy*!

Perhaps it fits somewhere on the new thin iMac keyboards? I have the previous gen keyboard for my white iMac...

Any help would be appreciated.

I think I know what you're talking about. A small clear plastic doodad? That is indeed a stand for your iPod Touch. All you do is lay the stand down, and cradle the iPod in it, either vertically or horizontally.

Plus, they don't include anything like that in the package. What he has is the dock adapter.

The package of 2G is smaller in volume, so I guess they had to remove something of the originally sipping items...

My 1G has it.

No stand with my 2G. I got the Griffin iClear case at bestbuy. It came with a beltclip that locks open and doubles as a stand (vertical or horizontal). Nice case! Has protected me from a couple drops already!

Stand doesn't come with the 2G. The case is alot smaller.

That clear plastic thingy only came with the 1st generations ipod touches, just checked and its only in my 1st gen ipod touch box and its not in my second generation one

No clear plastic stand.
