What's up w/ my Apollo?

I've installed Apollo and the BSD Subsystem and everything went fine. My Apollo opens fine and both accounts were added okay. When I attempt to log on, I get "Could not connect to authentication server: Could not resolve host name" for AIM and "Connection error from Notification server: Unable to connect" for MSN. What's going on and how do I fix it?? TIA!

There is already a post further down containing everything on how to correct Apollo. A search would have done nicely.

However, this is what I did to correct mine:

If nothing of the above works.. try this:

Add

64.12.161.185   login.oscar.aol.com
65.54.179.216   nexus.passport.com
65.54.183.203   login.live.com

65.54.239.20	messenger.hotmail.com
65.54.239.21	gateway.messenger.hotmail.com

65.54.179.193   loginnet.passport.com

to:

/etc/hosts
and
/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/hosts

Wait for the iphone/ipod to restart and then launch Apollo.
