It seems this issue is happening for alot o people and no solutions

I only need it for the update of aperture 3
It keeps hanging and pinwheel is just so mezmerizing that im getting bored of it....
I downloaded aperture from the appstore so i have to update it that way which is dumb because i downloaded the .dmg from the support site on apple.support but it wont let me install it
so now im fustrated and looking around all over with no answer to the issue (no i will not reinstall )
