Illusionist David Copperfield is at the center of an FBI investigation after a Seattle woman accused him of raping her in the Bahamas.

FBI agents seized cash and items in a raid on a Las Vegas warehouse owned by the magician on Wednesday.

Among the items confiscated were a computer hard drive and a digital camera memory chip.

Copperfield's attorney, David Chesnoff, insists the sexual misconduct charges against his client are false.

He says, "Unfortunately false allegations are all too often made against famous individuals.

"We are confident the investigation will conclude favorably. We are in touch with the investigators and are respecting the confidentiality of the investigation."

But what can they do to him?

Lock him up? well he did escape from Alcatraz... sentence him to death? he's been sawn in two before... :p

I don't get why they took 2 million in cash if it was a sexual assault charge. Ouch!
Maybe it was suspected payoff money?

Must be more to the story. Why would they raid his place and take cash and stuff if he's accused of rape? Must be drugs involved or something.

Maybe he hypnotized and cut a woman in half, had his way with the bottom half, put her back together and woke her up from her spell.
A few days later the repressed memories surfaced.
