I can't get into the .Mac website, use my iDisk in online mode, or access .Mac email. Anyone know what's going on? Apple.com works now, but it didn't earlier.

It's been working fine for me. Routing problem at your ISP, maybe?
Yeah, sounds like a routing problem. Some sites work but others don't. I'm experiencing SEVERE slowdowns opening pages on MacRumors because it tries to contact http://a.tribalfusion.com (one of MacRumors' ad servers), but it times out after 60 seconds, then continues loading the rest of the page.

I'm thinking that there must be some major trouble out there somewhere blocking traffic, I've also noticed that the usual constant flow of incoming spam and list mail has dropped to almost nothing this morning.

Fewer people able to connect to .Mac for whatever reason would also explain it being faster for those without problems ;)

[edit. Yep, check it out, something very big and bad spiked early today.

Good news! My .Mac service has been restored. Apple.com doesn't seem to be working yet though.
