I'm tryin to record (music) through the line-in on my powerbook, but the left channel keeps recording louder than the right channel. I've tried to record using two different software programs (audio hijack and sound studio) and get the same results with both.
I'm recording from a mixer which is getting input from a turntable. I know the mixer is ok because i recorded from it to a PC and both channels recorded at the same volume. But the quality sounds like crap. I get good quality with my PB, but just an uneven sound.
I know i am doing this the cheap way, and tomorrow I'll probably go buy a soundcard for the PC with RCA audio in, but i was just hopeing there was a way around it. Maybe its just something in the settings somewhere???
