benhollberg macrumors 68020 Mar 8, 2010 2,170 7 Sep 15, 2011 #2 I am not sure if there is a application-by-application setting besides doing the keyboard combination but you can disable it system wide in System Preferences, General, Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps.

Still opens last opened page instead of homepage. ---------- Wait...that did work. I just reset Safari after unchecking that box and now it works properly. Thanks again.
