Title says it all ...

Ive searched the skype website, and only they said (back when the ipad was launched) was that in the coming months, an app for ipad would make its way to the app store ....

anyone heard anything since then ?
Maybe they are waiting for iOS 4.2

Maybe Skype and Sling are hiding in the same server room.

Please come out of the closet guys.

Skype is working on my iPad. Dunno what you mean. I'm using the iPhone version, but it works. Just placed a call a few minutes ago.

Oops sorry , I should rephrase my question ... :p
I was talking about an ipad version of skype (HD, XL or whatever they call it )
That takes advantage of the ipad screen space.

Like you said .. The iphone version of the app works on the ipad, was just woundering when a dedicated ipad one was gona happen

Are you surprised that Skype is dragging their feet, releasing a native iPad app? Their support for mobile platforms has been generally awful, be it iOS or Android.. On the latter - there is still no native Skype app, due to their ridiculous exclusive deal with Verizon.
