what's up with the muted colors in iPhone 4.1's calendar?

I noticed in the calendar since 4.1 the colors for the different calendars are more subdued. Wtf? I liked the other much better....it seemed more Apple like....anyone know of a way to switch it back?

You are right, they do appear more muted. However, I also noticed that my various calendars (work, gmail, and birthdays) now have their own colors. Prior to 4.1 my work and gmail calendars had the same color dots. That was very annoying. I like this new change, even though the colors are a little muted.
