What's with the lack of cases from the premium brands for the 6+?

Why does the 6 have so many good cases but not the 6+? It's really annoying.

What do you consider a "premium" brand?

No doubt the premium brands have the most to lose by rushing to market with an ill-fitting product. Viz. PowerSupport screen protectors, for example.

My guess is because up until the time it was announced no one knew for sure that it even existed (unlike the 6 which was "leaked" as early as spring).

I would also add that manufacturers can't exactly just add size to existing iPhone 5 or 6 cases.

Size it, test it, re-do this, re-do that. I'm sure it's not as easy as I make it sound. Not to mention how small the margin of error.
