What's wrong with my 3GS?

Hi guys,

My mrs iPhone just randomly came up with the plug into iTunes logo.

Weird thing is if I slide to make an emergency call it has her background!!!!

I put it into recovery mode and restored it, hour later it's done it again.

Any ideas? Is the phone now dead?

Sounds like a software issue. Very odd. I'd try restoring it to factory settings for awhile if you can and see if the problem comes back. If not, then your backup probably backed up the problem. What you could try doing also is redownloading the current version of iOS from Apple and reinstalling it. That can fix problems in some cases.
