I have iphone 4 with gevey ultra. It worked perfect, I could turn the phone off and like magic gevey ultra would do its thing and I could make calls. My screen got cracked and I had it replaced. Immediately after picking it up I saw the gevey message to dial 112, turn airplane mode off etc. I had never had to do this before. Ever since then I have to manually do the steps to get my phone to make calls. Sometimes it take me a couple of days to get it going.

The weird thing is, my sim tray is turning copper/burn colored. I dont know if If the repair place put a cheap screen in that is over heating my phone or if replacing the screen shorted out my gevey card, or if my sim card keeps shorting out. I have replaced the sim when I could not get my phone to work for days and it worked instantly with a new sim and the manual gevey instructions.

I dont know what to do. Any thoughts ideas? The tray looks worse than the image attached. IT IS NOT A REFLECTION. It looks like it is burnt where the copper color merges with the normal color.

EDIT: Now that you updated the picture. yeah it's weird. It looks like it's oxidized or something, I thought the sim try was actually plastic.

Looks fine to me, it's probably reflecting the color of brown color off the walls or something in the room. Maybe your fingers, which have a dark color to them.

Hold it up to a white piece of paper and see if it's still "copper" color.

No, it looks bad. Everyone is like what the hell is going on with your phone. The picture sucks and it appears light or like a reflection. I am trying to figure out how to get my gevey working normal again where I dont have to manually call 112. Dont know if I should buy a new gevey sim or what.

Order a new sim tray for a couple of bucks. See if that does it too. I have never personally seen or heard of this happening to a sim tray before.

I guess my main concern is that there is no overheating or electrical issue. This started when I got my screen replaced.

Maybe the metal is made from a different material from the original so this happened, so yeah best option would just to buy a new tray

where did you order it from? there are a bunch of imitation Gevey sims that get the job done but they aren't Genuine
