Last edited:
- Hitman Absolution (halfway through)
- The Last Of Us (barely started)
- Fallout 3
- SSX
- Borderlands
- Saints Row IV
- Splinter Cell Blacklist
- Beyond: Two Souls
- GTA V (unless they annouce a PS4 version before I get around to it!)

Plus some smaller and indie titles, but those are all optional...

This should keep me plenty busy until the PS4 has a decent game library, and the first titles have come down in price! :)

I forgot about saints row. I haven't played ANY of those games.

Are they more fun than GTA?

I keep hearing about indie games, what are some good ones?

Xbox:
Assassins Creed 1, 2
Black Ops
Crysis 3
Dead Space 3
Dragon Age (played but never beat)
Far Cry 3 (played on PC but wouldn't mind beating it again)
Gears of War 1, 2
Max Payne 3
Portal 2
Red Dead Redemption
Resident Evil 6
Space Marine
Splinter Cell Blacklist

PS3:
Demons Souls
Hitman Absolution
The Last of Us
Uncharted series (currently in progress)

Not as bad as I thought before taking inventory.

Games I have but haven't played (at least more than a few hours)

Mass Effect series was on there for a long time, playing through now (about half way through 2 and loving it)
Borderlands 2
Oblivion (yeah, meaning to play this one. Played the hell out of Skyrim)
Tale of two brothers (I think, is the name? Bought it over christmas)
Half-Life Orange Box - All half life 2 and it's episodes
Witcher 2
Dragon Age Origins
Fable II
Halo 4
Alice: Madness Returns

Indie titles:
Fez didn't really do the trick for me, gave up on it
Limbo is totally worth it, but a little short
Super MeatBoy is excellent, but maddeningly difficult

Too much to list....... Seriously for every one game I actually finish there must be 30 that I haven't.

That being said games i do want to finish include the likes of Ni No Kuni ....

I seem to buy games with the hope/delusion that I'll have the free time to play them "some time in the future."

That being said, I'm taking my Skyrim-ing seriously now, and after 439 hours of play, have decided to end it *soon*. "Soon" being a relative term.

That may be more time than I have spent with this entire console generation! :D

Okay, here's my case. A couple months ago I decided to finally make the jump and buy a PlayStation (Late, I know). I had saved up about $1,000 to spend on anything related to it (from the console, to games, accessories, etc). I had two choices, either buy a PS4 and buy about 10 or 15 games for it (since they were averaging at $50/60 each). or get a PS3 and buy dozens of games (averaging at $10/20 each). I decided to get a PS3 along with PSN+ (gets me even more games), and enjoy as many games as possible. Until I'm done with them all, PS4 games would become a little more affordable. Without further ado, here's the list of the games that I've finished and the (humble) list of games that I have on my backlog...

Beaten games:

Do arkham city ASAP! That game is amazing

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
...

I don't see Uncharted 1 or 2 on the list. I highly recommend playing all three. And if you really only want to play one, it should be Uncharted 2.

I hear you loud and clear on both counts, brother.

I started playing Skyrim in August of 2012 (when I finally bought a 360). I put in about 100 hours on one character, finished main quest, mage's guild, and bard's questline. I played as a tank character, heavy dragon plate with an enchanted Daedric warhammer. Then, didn't pick it up again until after Dragonborn DLC came out. I bought all three DLC's in December of 2012, and commenced to complete EVERY questline and all DLC questlines, put in over 300 hours on that character, so I'm right there with you. Sure, my second character can do pretty much anything at level 79, but man, do I love the Thief/Archer/Mage/Assassin playstyle. So much more enjoyable than the tank. It's changed the way I play games. Now, in Mass Effect, Borderlands, etc. I prefer the "mage" with sniper rifles. So much fun!

I still watch gopher's excellent "Let's Play Skyrim Again" youtube videos. Better than CSI anyday!

Okay, here's my case. . . . . .

Keep playing Portal 2, what a great game and a great story!

Can't speak for Batman, but Bioshock Infinite or Tomb Raider should definitely get some love, soon. Best games of 2013, hands down!

I did try it for about an hour when I first bought it. Seems pretty great, and amazing graphics, I loved the X-ray vision thing (detective mode, is it?).

I don't see Uncharted 1 or 2 on the list. I highly recommend playing all three. And if you really only want to play one, it should be Uncharted 2.

yeah, I first got uncharted 3 because it was on sale (only $9!), now I'm looking at this offer on amazon to get the first two games. then I'll play them in order.

I know! I'm almost done with Portal 2, I just love the humor and sarcasm in it, it's gotten to a very interesting part. And I'm definitely starting Tomb Raider soon, it's been getting a lot of talk lately because of the release of the ultimate edition, so it got me excited to play it.

I seem to buy games with the hope/delusion that I'll have the free time to play them "some time in the future."

Heh heh, me too! I've found that not having games/consoles distracts me way more than having them. I can always delay the gratification of playing if I own the stuff because I know it will always be available to me when I get around to playing it. My consoles are like dutiful servants waiting patiently for when I want to come and play them. I really enjoy playing video games but I've never had addiction issues with them. I know the things in my life that are more important and I work hard to ensure those get taken care of, but when it comes time to have fun, I want my video games to there for me so I can entertain myself!

If the future wife attempts to fight me on my video game collection, I will show her the door real fast :D

My 7th gen backlog is: A few of the lego games, some bargain $3 games I bought, GTA 5, GTA 4, LA Noire, last of us, call of duty, assassin's creed, battlefield 4, sports games, kinect dance games, too many to list! Let's just say I should never be bored!

I have not sold a single one of my Wii games, as I can still play them on the WiiU.

Here is a list of the Wii games I have:

Games I have finished:
CSI Hard Evidence
Link's Crossbow training
Smash Bros Brawl
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Paper Mario
Wii Sports
Wii Play
Zelda Skyward Sword
Zelda Twilight Princess

Games I have yet to finish:
Cursed Mountain
Endless Ocean
Grand Slam Tennis
Metroid Other M
Metroid Prime 3
Top Spin 4

Backlog:

Assassin's Creed 2
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Batman: Arkham City
BioShock Infinite
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
ICO
Shadow of the Colossus
Tomb Raider
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD

Which games do you think I should start soon?

These ones get my vote. Bioshock Infinite is a good place to start.

My backlog is horrendous. It includes every Wii game I brought, and dozens of games across PS3 and 360. I think I might just round them all up and trade them in or something. No way I'll get around to them now.

I've actually finished Tony Hawk a few times back when I had it on the PlayStation 1 over 10 years ago!

I now finished Portal 2 and The Walking Dead. And since I always like to play a light game and a heavy one, I'm starting to play Brothers: a tale of two sons, and Tomb Raider.
