He,

I was wondering what your coolest app:apple: (or addon/widget whatever) is. I'm trying to pimp my mac a little bit with a cool software, like smcfancontrol, wallsaver, sofacontrol. So what app makes your live better (or not, but still is awesome). Let me hear it.:D

I'm not sure how cool, or glamorous it is, but I could not live without Vienna. I don't have time to browse hundreds of sites. It brings all the information to me.

Shut down...

literally, the coolest app ever.:D

Seriously, when i think of it, google earth is awesome given it also includes a basic flight simulator...

vmware, I love having WinXP right on the other space full screen.

<3 spaces too

Quicksilver. You'll get stuff done quicker, and the bezel setting is great. Also, Growl is nice.

Couldn't agree more. Love it. I try not to use the mouse as much and I have cut down the amount of icons I have.

It is funny when I am at work on a windows machine I find myself hitting the keys to start it up and.... doh, I can't do that LOL...

Great program!!!!

The one's I use every day that are free.
  • Firefox
  • Weatherbug
  • NetNewsWire
  • iStat pro

I also use iScrobbler but that really is only for those with a last.fm account. I consider it to be my favorite App.

Another vote for Quicksilver. Despite its propensity to crash, it's still my favorite 'meta-app.'

As for more traditional apps, OmniOutliner has helped me write more essays than I can count. Sometimes simplicity can be the best thing ever.
