Apps What's your favorite Apple TV App?

Plex & Sling rule, though depending on what Hulu liveTV is like when it comes out of beta -- that could change... :cool:

I'm still waiting for the true ala-carte service: 20 channels for $20, and I choose the channels -- premium services like HBO, Showtime, etc would be add-ons, but anything with commercials could be included in the 20-pak. Pipe-dreams are fun... :confused:
 
Most used=PS Vue (Although I hate the controls)
Favorite app=WWE Network
Least favorite= Netflix (again, hate the controls and not 4k)
 
We have Cable/Fios TV and have access to some channel apps. I am still looking over Vue/Sling for down the road.

My kids like:
Minion Rush
Mr. Jump
Asphalt Racing (? can't remember the name-son likes this one)
they also like the Disney channel apps

as for games, I like:
Leo's Fortune
Solitaire

I enjoy the:
Lowes TV App
Home Depot App
Zillow

Sling and HBO Go for me. I watch Nets games on Yes channel on Sling. So I've cut my cable subscription. And I subscribe directly to HBO Go.
For the games I like Alto.
 
We use it mainly to Infuse to play our ripped movies. And iTunes for movies.
I would love to get those iTunes series also to Finland!

I only use Apple TV 4's on All 8 TV's. So the following can be used on all of them.

WatchAid - Universal Watch List. Initial App for most shows.
Hulu - TV Series with No Commercials
CBS All Access - TV Series with No Commercials
DirectNow - Live TV like News
Channels - Live TV and DVR (for Shows not on Hulu or CBS)
HBO Go - $5 with DirectNow.
Showtime Anytime - HomeLand and Movies. Add On with Hulu
Netflix - Original Series and Movies
Starz - Moves. Add On with DirectNow.
 
My favorite apps are my most used apps. WatchAid and QVC top the list. WatchAid is everything the TV app should've been. As for tv service apps I use Hulu and CBS All Access. Both are No Commercial plans. I also have Netflix.

I watch a ton of YouTube but I hate the app. So I feel conflicted about listing it. But I use it so much that I'm listing it anyway.

I don't game much on my tv because I prefer playing on my iPad mini and watching tv simultaneously. But if I had to choose I'd pick Asphalt 8.
 
Infuse

I signed up to Disney and Netflix but my TV doesn't have HDCP so not working. I can get a box that fixes that though apparently.
 
My most used apps are Netflix and DIRECTV Now. In terms of favorite app, I would probably say MLB.TV.

Movies is one of my most used, but least favourite apps
