I have a hard time picking which preset I prefer the most. I think I like Rock, or Jazz the best.

What's everyone's thoughts/preferences?

I use the voice amp one. I mostly listen to audiobooks and podcasts, though, and I find I like the sound better than the spoken word setting.

I have the V-moda Vibe Duo, so....Treble Boost. Makes the sound as close to perfect as I've been able to achieve without moving into the $300 headphone range.

you use more cpu cycles to resample the input to eq it, therefore more power is required

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3GS (White, 32GB): Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

I use Latin, on everything from my Sensaphonics to the free earbuds that came with the phone.

I also have played around with this and find that music sounds best- through quality headphones if left off.

I wasn't aware of the battery power issue, that just makes my decision more of a plus.

I did try 'dance' and I suppose if I was stuck on using one of the EQ settings, that would be it.

My music is encoded in high quality so I keep it off.

With proper encoding and good headphones you dont need EQ.

Deep, best all around
