Just wanted to know which new features you like in Lion. I personally like the Full screen and trackpad gestures.

Full screen, swipe with 3 fingers to go from app to app, and 2 finger swipe to go back a page.

This.

I've only been playing with it for a few days, but it just seems way easier to navigate through my apps and websites.

Plus, the fact that i upgraded from 2 gigs to 8 gigs didn't hurt either. :)

Snow Leopard was sorta "meh" to me, but I'm liking a lot about Lion. Like:

Trackpad gestures
Full screen
Launchpad (now that I know how to organize things in it)
AirDrop (transferred my iTunes library between computers very easily)

Nothing yet. It pretty much feels like a dumbed-down SL. I'm worried when they start hiding crap for the sake of people who don't know what they're doing. That feels more windoze to me.

And why don't they just put a bullet in the head of Dashboard already?

full screen app, 3 finger swipe, tap to zoom, lanunchpad, mission control.. but the new 2 finger scrolling is making is crazy. it is just opposite what is used to in SL. i think i like 2 finger scroll from SL.

I liked Dashboard in SL and Leopard, etc. when it came down from the ether on top of the desktop.

I don't like it as its own separate...thing.

Resume. Resume is amazing for someone like me who takes a laptop to work. I shut it down when I leave the office, when I get back in the next day, I'm right where I left off. I never turn off apps anymore.

It'd definitely be the new bookmarks-bar-like bar in Mail,
without which the sidebar toggle would seem ultimately gimmicky.

Now I can travel between and move messages in and out of mailboxes
with the same ease to which I am accustomed with Safari bookmarks.

:apple:

Fullscreen! And [yes, I like] the new Mission Control. This new way of moving from app to app completely changes and has drastically speeds up the way that I interact with the OS.

I keep a lot of PDF documents open usually, and the fullscreen Preview is fantastic. It's the way that I've always wanted PDF viewing on the computer to be.

The three-finger double-tap on top of words to look them up in the built in dictionary is a really great and fun small little feature as well.

I also think that Resume is a great great thing for my Macbook Pro.

And Dashboard is a very easy option away from making go away. I wasn't fond of it having its own screen either.

iChat with Yahoo Messenger integrated (Because I don't like Adium?)
Full Screen
Mail and Contacts
LaunchPad
Can create folder with selected items
Separate Dashboard.

Apparently I am pretty happy with most of them despite from mono color icons on sidebar.

I've noticed that after a few reboots with the Resume feature, Firefox gets really choppy with scrolling. I have to quit and launch it again.
Possible memory leak??

The gestures, as others have said swiping between desktops/fullscreen apps is great, same for back/forward in Safari (love the animation for it). Also 3 finger drag is so much easier than having to hold down on the touchpad (never used the double tap and drag as it made the single tap left click to slow).

Autosave and versions will be a life saver for me.

Improved security features and native 64-bit kernel.

thing is i have unchecked most of the default gesture, due to being so accustomed to the gestures I've been using in better touch tool.

Best feature: when sending an e-mail the mail window quickly slides away to the top. It's great!

I love the way the volume controls are greyed out and the sound is stuck at full volume.

I'd have been happier if the sound didn't work at all, but having it stuck at full volume is irritating.

I am really enjoying Full Screen App switching with 3 fingers. I really enjoy the extra screen real estate it gives to my laptop. Makes me confident with switching from a MBP to an MBA. The 2 finger swipe to go back/forth in browser history is fantastic too.

Overall, feels much more natural.

Mine is File Vault 2. Ive been envious of True Crypt and Bitlocker for Windows because of the full disk encryption that it does, now we have the same benefit in 10.7.
