For me it would be going from being tethered to my desk (M1 Mini) to being able to go mobile when I wanted or needed (M4 MBP, purchased in March). I never had much need for mobility (used an iPad for those few times when I did) until this year and the convenience of having a MBP to take on a whim has been great.

It's a recent one for me, my new Shokz OpenSwim Pro bone conduction headphones for my pool swims.

So awesome!

I love how they have continued iterating for years on this technology and they totally got rid of the "buzz" vibration you'd feel in the early years of this tech.

I love my Shokz OpenRun. I feel a lot safer now that I can still hear everything around me and have music or podcasts going when I run. And you're correct, the technology is vastly improved from the earlier versions.

Honestly I still like the noise cancellation on the AirPods Max. I did a lot of travelling this year and even sitting in silence with the headphone on with NC is a godsend.

+ a 25,000 mAh USB-C fast charger battery pack to keep things going and of course my trusty evergoods backpack

Music guy here. Love my Zoom LiveTrak L6 mixer. No screen, just knobs and blinky lights. Screens and menus take you out of the moment - and this feels almost 'analog'. Small, records 10 tracks, can be used as an interface if needed, and battery operable. Perfect for the solo (or duo) singer songwriter.
