What's Your iPhone Status?

So, 3 days after the new iPhone 3G S was released... what's your status??
I know I'm getting it as soon as it comes out in Venezuela later this summer!! CAN'T Wait!!!


NOTE: the third option refers to people who will get the 3G S, but can't right now due to: Contract-Related, Money, or just Country availability...

I love my 3G S (upgraded from a 3G). People who say this is a minor update are idiots, because after using one since Friday I can tell you with 100% confidence that this is more of a bump than 2G->3G was.

I got the 1st gen (early adopter)
Then got the 3G on release day.
Then got the 3.0 software early under a developers license.
Then got the 3GS on launch day.

All I can say is the 3GS is a remarkable upgrade and definitely worth it.

i would upgrade if they changed it cosmetically, I cant spend $300 on a phone that looks exactly the same, although I would love 2x storage and speed. I will have no choice but to get next years model, my current 3G will probably break by then or somthing because ive never kept any phone longer than 2 years. as long as I never use a 3GS ill never wants one, because i won't know the diffrence, its like DSL vs. FIOS once you know, you never go back!

I bought the 2G a month after it came out. Worked all summer for it! (Was 14 at the time). It served me well for two years, but I sold it in all its cracked, dented glory and now have enough money to buy a 3G S.

I'm just waiting for PayPal to release $250 of my money which they are holding due to their stupid new policy. But other than that, I do have enough to buy one. Now I'm trying to decide between black and white 32GB.

I'll be getting a 3GS at the beginning of September since I won't be eligible for the $199 pricing till then. I can see myself possibly giving in and playing the $399 early upgrade price.

Forget about the new 3GS only features for a second, even if it did not have them it is worth it. The speed increase makes this device so much more usable than ever IMO. It really is a remarkable difference.
