Just out of curiosity, what is your ringtone?

I just set my ringtone of my moto Q9m to the ringtone of the CTU office phones on the TV show "24"

Currently the opening riff of Layla from Derek and the Dominoes.

I've recently got into making my own ringtones. Kryptonite, Money for Nothing, Savin' Me (Nickelback). Much fun and endless choices!

Just the standard T-Mobile "do do do do do" ring for me. :D My phone is on vibrate 99% of the time anyway. If it is on ring, it's because it's important that I answer right away, and that ringtone sounds really distinct to me. I had a song before but I never noticed it at the tennis courts or whatever; it just blended in with everything else.

i too have recently begun to make my own ringtones. i think the variety and control apeal to me... and garageband, naturally. so far, i've created only one original GB tone, but i also carry:

oingo boingo (weird science)
primus (those damned blue collar tweekers)
portishead (strangers)
some classical (handel and saint-saëns)
and and a smattering of tv theme songs (mostly cartoon)

louis armstrong's "what a wonderful world" is my alarm tone and i really like it.

i haven't even (haha) started on the holiday music!

ETA: i frequently rotate my ring tones. i'm currently using the primus one.

Music is my hot, hot sex.

Remember the scene from When Harry Met Sally when Meg Ryan faked an orgasm in the deli? The elderly lady in the next booth said "I'll have what she's having"?

Well a friend has the entire dialog as a ringtone from the web.

Can you imagine THAT going off while your...at your GYN, in church.

The dying ring from the movie Crank. My text message is Quagmire from Family Guy saying giggity giggity giggity.

an mp3 of my girlfriend mimicking the sound of a cell phone vibrating.

She did it after I told her of how much I despised ring tones and the people that use them. :D

Right now it's a chunk from "Celtic Cry", the little tune that plays at the beginning of The Boondock Saints.
But I've basically been switching between that, Classical Gas (a guitar version from Eric Clapton), and the happy bouncy part of Cliffs of Dover for the past couple of months.

The intro to "Chicago" by Sufjan Stevens

It's awesome because it starts out at a low volume, and gets louder.... so it doesn't scare me when I'm sleeping.

"You've got the touch" by Stan Bush, from the old Transformers movie.

Duh duhh duuuuuuh duh, you've got the power!

Calls: 4 Minutes- Madonna
Text Messages: Gimme More- Britney Spears

Yes, I'm male, but... shut up! :D

[I'm gay if that justifies anything]
